Gute Neuigkeiten für alle, die die kanadische Band Broken Social Sceneschon so lange so sehr vermissen wie wir: Frontmann Kevin Drew veröffentlicht am 21.03.2014 über City Slang sein neues Soloalbum „Darlings“. Und auch seit seinem letzten Soloalbum „Spirit If…“ sind satte sieben Jahre vergangen – es wird also Zeit!
Selbst sagt Kevin Drew über „Darlings“: „This record is a celebration of memories. It’s about the rise and fall of love and sex, in my own life and in today’s society. This topic has been with me for years. I approached it purely focusing on the songwriting itself and leaving all the tricks and explosions behind. I hope you like it…..and if you don’t then give to someone who will.“
Im gleichen Atemzug präsentiert er uns über Soundcloud den ersten Song mit dem vielversprechenden Titel „Good Sex“. Und ja, er hält was er verspricht. Aber hört selbst und freut Euch wie wir.
